Underwater Bubbles

I was studying the work of Nick Campbell, specifically a work of his called Drippy Glassy.

I tried capturing the look of this image, and I’m happy to say I didn't need to do any post processing on this render.

The trick to making the bubbles is to use Metaballs. You get the benefits of fast modeling, but you can get surface tension for free.
